Stopping the spread of a deadly food bug
In June each year the Food Standards Agency leads a national Food Safety Week. The focus of this year's campaign was Campylobacter – the most common cause of food poisoning in the UK.
Approach
The campaign's priority message counters the misconception that washing raw chicken is good food safety practice. We used a mixed graphic and photographic approach to highlight good practice in a direct and engaging way.
Used throughout June, the campaign ran in local community groups, the national press and on social media.
