Digital application
When the Royal Academy asked us to look at developing their iconic brand and applying it to their digital platforms, we were naturally very excited. The RA brand works fantastically for print, but needed some modification and rationalisation when it came to digital applications.
Approach
We did an extensive analysis of their site, simplifying and rationalising typography and navigation across the main areas. Working in partnership with US developers 8th Light, we were involved in an iterative four-month process to unify and streamline the look and feel of the site.
Outcome
The development work resulted in a digital style guide setting out the main principles of typography, information hierarchy and page structure.
